Strategies:

The content and frequency of assessments varies from year-to-year and indicates how well BC students compare to other jurisdictions.

BC performs as well as Canada and second only to Alberta in SAIP2 Writing III (released May 2003). Perform in the top 10–25% of all participants.

Strategies:

1. Work with other social policy ministries to develop strategies that support fitness/healthy living for K-12.

The McCreary Survey indicates health of adolescents in BC.
