• Ensure appropriate administrative support for the
operations and decision-making processes of Cabinet and
related committees
• Ensure effective corporate oversight of the system
of Crown corporations in British Columbia
• Provide timely recruitment for appointments of
Directors to Crown corporations, agencies, boards and commissions
• Develop and implement policies that ensure all
appointments to Crown corporations, agencies, boards and
commissions are based on merit
• Complete project on cross-Crown corporation policy
issues, including compensation review and donations
• Host a minimum of three workshops on performance
measurement for Crown corporations
• Host quarterly Chief Executive Officer forums for
all Crown corporations to ensure best practices
